İbrahim Alican, an aerospace engineering student at Istanbul Aydın University, founded N-TEK, an independent lab in Istanbul, and runs it. N-TEK builds a mind that learns as it lives, the way we do, and an aircraft for it to fly into the first hours after an earthquake.
The mind is NEXMIND, AI that forms its own goals. The aircraft is NOGAI Mk. II, the compound unmanned helicopter N-TEK designs end to end for rapid response after a major Istanbul earthquake: turbine-powered, in the 400 kg class, with a projected maximum continuous speed of 330 km/h, faster than any unmanned helicopter in its class flies today.
A new form of active inference, a public research report, a flight autonomy stack and an aircraft design: all built alone, on a single desktop, without institutional funding.
N-TEK is an independent lab, not a registered company. What helps it most is compute, then funding and collaboration: write to contact@n-tek.tr.
